Beef Rissole Tips

- Grate your veggies: I find grating the carrot and onion adds more flavour and gives you a juicer rissole.
- Don’t use lean mince: If you want juicy rissoles use a good quality mince.
- Chill: While this isn’t a must, I do like to make these in the morning or afternoon and chill them until dinner time. They hold their shape better when you cook them this way.
- Cook on medium heat: Make sure not to cook them too high or the outside will burn while the inside will still be raw. A nice medium heat will give you a crunchy exterior and juicy cooked interior.

4. I use about 1/3 cup of mixture for each rissole. Turn it into a ball in your hands and flatten it halfway.

8. Once rissoles are done take them out of the pan and you can serve!
How To Store Beef Rissoles
Uncooked Rissoles: You can either store them covered in the fridge for 1-3 days at most before cooking. Make sure your mince isn’t due to expire before you plan on cooking them.
You can also store uncooked rissole patties in the freezer in a ziploc freezer bag for about 2-3 months. Then take them out let them thaw in the fridge and cook like normal until cooked all the way through.
Cooked Rissoles: Once cooled you can store them in an airtight container in the fridge for about 3 days.
You can also store completely cooled rissoles in an airtight container or ziploc freezer bag in the freezer for about 2 months. Let it thaw in the fridge and reheat in the oven or stove top.
