Cabbage Salad Tips

- Slice your cabbage thinly for maximum flavour! Unless you like it thick and extra crunchy.
- Whether you fry your sweet potatoes or roast them add a little salt to give them extra flavour!
- If you are making this salad ahead of time don’t add the dressing right away. Keep it aside until you are ready to serve so your salad doesn’t go soggy!
What You Need

Ingredients
- 1 cup red cabbage: Shred the cabbage as thinly or thickly as you like. I prefer thinner.
- 1 cup green cabbage: You can just use one type of cabbage, but I like the colours when using both.
- 1 carrot shredded: Medium size carrot
- 1/4 cup red onion
- 1/4 cup fetta cheese
- 2 tbsp pine nuts
- 1/3 cup roasted sweet potato: I cube my potato and will either fry in butter or roast in oil in the oven. You can do it either way.
For the sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce: I use a dark soy sauce but any will do.
- Olive oil 2 tbsp: You can use olive oil or avocado oil.
- 2 tbsp honey: Use a good quality honey for maximum flavour.
Supplies
- Sharp Knife: For dicing your vegetables and fetta cheese.
- Grater: For grating the carrot.
- Bowl: To mix everything into
