What You Need

Tropical smoothie ingredients on a cutting board on the table.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 bananas: You can use fresh or frozen. I do like using frozen as it makes the smoothie creamier and thicker.
  • 1 cup mango: Once again fresh or frozen is fine. Using fresh is great when it’s in season and cheaper, if not frozen is the next best thing!
  • 1 cup pineapple: Fresh or frozen. I like frozen as you don’t have to chop it all up. It’s already done for you!
  • 1 cup coconut milk: Not all coconut milk is made the same! Look at the ingredients and buy as pure as you can should just say coconut milk nothing else!
  • 4 cups water: Use filtered or tank water. I personally never use town water. Use more water if you want your smoother thinner and less if you want it thicker.
  • 1/3 cup honey: We are flowing with honey over here! You can use whatever sweetener you like but honey is natural and gives it a lovely flavour.

Supplies

Blender: A good blender will make sure all the pieces are blended through and you don’t end up with a bunch of chunky pieces.
