Tips On Making The Best Hamburger Patties
- Not all mince is made equally. If you want a delicious hamburger, make sure to buy good quality meat! I get my meat from a local butcher, and you can tell the difference between a cheap brand of dyed red meat and the real thing.
- Let your burger mix sit for 10-20 minutes to soak up the flour. This will thicken the mix making it easier to form your patties.
- Add flavours: Don’t be afraid to add spices! If you want a flavourful and delicious burger, make sure to add some spices and seasonings!
- Make sure your pan is hot: Before placing your patties on the pan make sure it is preheated so it can sear the outside of your burgers, so you have a juicy inside.
Ingredients You Will Need
- Mince (ground beef): While you can use whatever mince you like, I am using normal beef mince (ground beef).
- 1 medium sized egg: This helps bind that patties together.
- Flour: I use tapioca flour for all my binding and thickening needs. It’s also gluten free and works a treat!
- Worcestershire sauce: This really adds a nice flavour.
- BBQ sauce: Adds a sweet and delicious taste to the burgers. Give it a try it’s delicious!
- Sea salt: Salt brings out the flavour and just taste amazing!
- Seasonings: Garlic powder, black pepper and Italian seasoning. I like these seasonings, but you can play around with other spices and herbs as well!
