This recipe is so easy to make. All you need is just a few ingredients, and you are good to go!
- Cacao powder: Don’t get confused with cocoa powder they are not the same thing. You want good pure cacao powder for its rich chocolate flavour.
- Sweetener: I prefer rapadura sugar (Panela) it’s my favourite natural sugar. It adds to the chocolate taste while also sweetening it up. You can use maple syrup, brown sugar or white sugar if you prefer.
- Water: Use filtered water as you will be consuming this. I would never use tap water personally.
- Sea salt: It enhances the chocolate taste and adds that little more flavour.
- Vanilla: Vanilla extract adds a lovely flavour to this homemade chocolate sauce.
