3 cups oats: I use whole oats but you can also use quick oats.

2 large apples peeled and diced.

2 cups whole milk. You can substitute for nut milk or oat milk if you like.

1/2 cup orange juice if you want a delicious orange flavour added to it.

4 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp cinnamon powder

pinch of sea salt

1/4 cup melted butter

1/2 cup sugar: I use either raw sugar or rapadura sugar which is similar to brown sugar. You can also sweeten with honey or maple syrup if you like.

1 tsp baking soda

How To Make Baked Apple Oatmeal Step by Step

  1. Preheat oven to 180c/ 355f.
  2. Peel and slice the apples. Place the apples in your baking dish.
  3. In a bowl mix the wet ingredients together.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix well.
  5. Pour the mixture on top of the apples that are in your tray and place in the oven.
  6. Allow it to bake for 30 minutes, pull it out and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
  7. Top with honey, maple syrup or cream!
