Slow Cooked Moroccan Beef

Ingredients Needed

1 kg beef: You can use beef strips, beef cubes or a cheaper cut of beef that you slice yourself.

4 potatoes peeled and diced

2 large carrots peeled and diced

1 onion chopped

1/4 cup coriander chopped

1 tsp sea salt, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp paprika

1 tbsp Moroccan spice

1/4 cup tapioca flour

How To Make Slow Cooked Moroccan Beef

  1. Pre chop vegetables and place steak pieces, vegetables, spices and coriander into a slow cooker.
  2. Stir well so everything is coated in spices.
  3. Cook on high for 4.5 hours.
  4. Half an hour before Moroccan beef is ready add tapioca flour and stir well so it thickens.
  5. Allow to cool slightly and serve as is or with a bed of rice.

What To Do With Leftovers

You can use leftovers in several different ways.

  1. Serve with a bed of rice or on top of a salad.
  2. Add this mixture into a wrap.
  3. Add Moroccan beef into a quiche or frittata.
  4. Use the Moroccan beef inside a pie!

How To Store

Allow to completely cool first before storing in an airtight container. You can place in the fridge will last 3-5 days.

Or you can store leftovers in the freezer for up to 3 months. When you want it to defrost simply place in the fridge the night before or let it defrost at room temperature before heating it up on the stove top.
